The Phillips Sisters
In this picture are my mother and her sisters, my aunts. This web site and the Phillips Family Line are dedicated to the three of them, because without them this site would likly not be here.
Helen was the first family member that really exposed me to genealogy. Much of the material in the Phillips Family Pages was produced by Helen, and many of the stories included here were writen by her. She started out with a talent for listening to people and their stories, and wound up recording them along with the genealogical material that later became her passion.
Margaret is that unexpected find that comes along when you need it most. When my mother became ill and needed someone to help care for her, Margaret made the move to California from Iowa and stayed there seven months, until mom died. She put her years of nursing to work, making my mother's last months as bareable as they could be. I have enjoyed getting to know Margaret better over the years, and only wish that I had started that process earlier. Margaret also made it possible for me to get most of the papers that Helen had worked up over the years, after Helen's death.
Jerry is my mother. According to my father, I was named after mom. She was Jerry Phillips, and I was named Phillip Jerry. That's cool. I can live with that. Mom did what every parent should do. She gave me the tools that I would need to become who I am, and with that, she also included plenty of love and caring. It never matter to me where she lived, I would call her regularly and enjoy long talks on the phone. She would offer advise if asked and alway listen to what was going on in my life and with my family.

Contributions
There are many people involved in this project. Each one is working away on their own, and stops to take time to help out someone (like me) who is still very new to this genealogy undertaking. So this is my thanks to them.
