Benjamin Ogle Millstone Monument Benjamin Ogle's Monument at White Hall Cemetery

The plaque reads
"In memory of Benny Ogle, he settled a farm 4 1/2 miles north of Carrollton in 1818. He carved this stone by hand and it was operated by a yoke of oxen in 1819 to grind cornmeal for the people of the community. The sun dial mounted above kept correct time along with the wooden wheel clock in those days. Erected by O. E. Lemon."
